Using Flux Balance Monitoring Alerts
Last updated: December 18, 2025
Flux Balance Monitoring helps you stay on top of material changes in your flux analysis after submission. This feature provides visual indicators when significant balance changes occur that may impact your completed flux analysis.
How Flux Balance Monitoring Works
Once you've submitted a flux analysis, the system will automatically monitor the account balances. If material changes occur in the underlying data, visual symbols will appear to indicate the balance changes. This helps you identify when your flux analysis may need review due to underlying data changes after submission.
Benefits
Visual indicators showing balance changes that could affect your flux analysis
Reduces risk of maintaining outdated flux analysis
Helps maintain accuracy of your financial close process
Note: The system will show visual symbols to indicate balance changes, but you'll need to manually review and resubmit the flux analysis if needed. This differs from the Reconciliation feature, which automatically unsubmits when balances change above threshold and sends alert notifications.
You can view the visual indicators for balance changes directly within your flux analysis in the application.
